hey, it's teddy bear
Today was an interesting day. I went to work expecting to do the same old same old. Instead, I got to sit in on an orientation! It was pretty boring, consisting of a powerpoint presentation on what is what in the bookstore. Snooozefesttt! Then Robert, the manager, told us that we're all going to the bookstore to pick out an item and then we're going to present them to the rest of the temps and sell it! I picked a teddy bear because I just cannot grow up. We had to list 3 features and 3 benefits.
Features: This bear has a head, two arms and two legs... to which Robert said, ok we know the bear is anatomically correct. I went on to say real bears don't really sit like this... but I digress. The bear is really soft. The bear has on a t-shirt with the school's name on it.
Benefits! This bear is like a friend! If you're homesick or just need a friend, hug a bear. The bear can be used for decorative purposes to express school pride. The bear can also be a great gift for children, friends, significant others.
I think I was pretty charming because everybody laughed. I don't know why they laughed exactly, but I hope they were laughing with me... Then Robert stopped calling me by my name. He started calling me teddy bear. I don't know how to feel. It's ok, I guess. I like teddy bears.
I got to see JanChan for a split second which made my day since my days aren't very exciting nowadays.
As for Favre getting traded to the Jets, I'm excited to see him play. Back in March, he wasn't going to play ever again. At least this way, I can still see him play. I was very against him coming back at first because I loved him too much to see him tarnish his legacy this way. Now I've accepted that he's done this to himself because he just wants to play the game of football this damn much. The only thing I don't like is that the Jets play the Patriots at least twice a year. I hate the Patriots... but I don't really see the lowly Jets crushing the Pats. I hope it happens. I'll see.. What is truly exciting is that the Jets are coming to play the 49ers in SF and the Raiders in Oakland! Tickets tickets, here I come!
